Privacy Policy of Learn AI
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Learn AI (the “App”), developed and published by Shanal Purohit (“we”, “us”, “the Developer”), handles information. Please read this policy before you use the App.
Summary: Learn AI does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The App works fully offline, contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). Everything you do inside the App stays on your device.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not collect any personal or sensitive user data. Specifically, the App does not collect:
Your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact details
Account credentials — the App has no sign-up, sign-in, or user account of any kind
Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP addresses
Location data of any kind, precise or approximate
Contacts, photos, media, files, calendar, microphone, or camera data
Usage analytics, crash logs, behavioural data, or diagnostic reports
Financial or payment information — the App does not process payments
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its core reading features, the App stores a small amount of information locally on your device using Android’s standard app storage:
Lesson progress — the identifiers of lessons you have marked as complete
Display preferences — such as your selected theme and text size
This information never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us, backed up to our servers (we operate none), or shared with anyone. It is used solely to restore your reading position and preferences the next time you open the App.
You can erase this information at any time by using the “Reset progress” option in the App’s Settings screen, by clearing the App’s storage from your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.
3. Internet access and offline operation
All course content in the App is bundled with the installation package and read from local storage. The App is designed to function without an internet connection and does not contact any server operated by us or by any third party in order to deliver its content.
4. Third-party services, advertising, and tracking
The App does not integrate any third-party advertising network, analytics platform, attribution tool, social media SDK, or tracking technology. It does not use cookies or similar tracking mechanisms. No data is sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties, because no data is collected in the first place.
Please note that the distribution platform through which you obtained the App — for example, Google Play — operates independently of us and handles installation, update, and store activity under its own privacy policy. We do not receive personal information from that process.
5. Permissions
The App does not request any Android runtime permission that grants access to personal or sensitive information.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is intended as a general-audience educational resource and is not directed specifically at children under the age of 13. Because the App does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below; however, as no collection mechanism exists, there would be no such data to delete.
7. Data security
Information stored locally by the App is protected by the security model of the Android operating system, which isolates application data from other applications on your device. Because no data is transmitted over a network, there is no data in transit to intercept and no server-side database that could be breached. Maintaining the security of your device itself — including screen locks and operating system updates — remains your responsibility.
8. Your rights
Privacy laws in various jurisdictions — including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — grant individuals rights of access, correction, deletion, and portability over their personal data. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, we hold nothing to disclose, correct, export, or erase. You retain full control of the locally stored preference and progress data described in Section 2, which you can delete at any time from your device.
9. Educational content notice
Course material in the App is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute professional, technical, legal, financial, or career advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for independent professional judgement.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if a future version of the App introduces new functionality. Any revised version will be published at this address with an updated “Last updated” date. If a future release ever introduces data collection of any kind, this policy will be amended before that release is published, and the change will be reflected in the App’s Google Play Data Safety declaration. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
